Security Manager

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of the security team.
2. Streamline the security procedures to safeguard the property.
3. Work with Department Heads to confirm all staff understands security procedures.
4. Organizing patrolling of the property to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience.
5. Train Security Officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrol and first aid procedures.
6. Disseminate all information by the Management to team members.
7. Inspect all Security equipment to ensure that they are in working order and that all cameras are correctly focused.
8. Cultivate Informers with the intention of obtaining information of security interest that may be of immediate or future use to the Department for prevention and detection purposes.
9. Record all activities involving the Department in the Daily Security Report.
10. Always be on-call, including off-duty hours, for any emergency that may arise.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in a similar capacity.
2. Degree in Criminology or related field.
3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
4. Report writing skills.
5. Certificates in CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting.
6. No criminal record.
