Eram Talent is looking for a Logistic Engineer specializing in Oil Spill Combat within the Marine Field to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in supporting our clients in the Oil and Energy sector by coordinating logistics and ensuring preparedness for oil spill incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine logistics, environmental protection, and oil spill response operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee all logistics related to oil spill response and recovery operations, ensuring effective deployment of resources.
Develop and maintain contingency plans for marine spill response, including logistical support and material procurement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and identify appropriate logistical strategies to mitigate oil spill impacts.
Manage inventory and distribution of spill response equipment and materials, ensuring readiness for immediate deployment.
Analyze and optimize logistics processes for oil spill combat, including transportation, storage, and personnel mobilization.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials for spill response operations.
Assist in training and drills related to oil spill response, focusing on logistical aspects and preparedness.
Track and report on logistics performance metrics during spill response exercises and real incidents, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to oil spill response and marine operations.
Monitor environmental conditions and recommend adjustments to logistical plans based on changing scenarios.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Environmental Science, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in logistics management within the Oil and Energy sector, preferably with a focus on oil spill response.
Strong understanding of marine logistics, supply chain management, and environmental regulations.
Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions during emergencies.
Certification in oil spill response or related areas is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical skills to assess logistics performance metrics.
