Bachelor's (minimum) degree or Master's (preferred) in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Engineering in a PMC or EPC environment on Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects
Experience of managing projects for offshore platforms and facilities is mandatory
Professional Engineer or engineering chartership preferred
Background and experience in either Process, Piping, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical & Controls preferred
Saudi Aramco Project Delivery experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
10 years' experience in Project Engineering in a EPC/PMC environment on Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects
Recorded experience on project engineering for offshore projects, preferably within Saudi
Proven knowledge and experience in using project engineering practices, design details, and international codes and standards, project scheduling and cost control
Proven experience in multidiscipline engineering management within Engineering and procurement projects
Fully understands technical work scopes including commercial aspects and has working knowledge of specifications and standards
Coordinates well with engineering disciplines, lead engineers/task force groups to ensure on-time work activities and implementation of project control procedures
Familiar with project Contractual and Commercial requirements and able to communicate these to less experienced project engineers
Fully conversant with project scopes and work carried out by all engineering disciplines and various interface and inter-discipline coordination requirements
Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and is able to deliver to internal customers, including other Engineering disciplines
Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices which define and govern Engineering Management and Project Engineering deliverables
Understands the importance of Project Engineering deliverables documents and the need for accuracy and timely issue
Commercially astute and able to implement Change control
Good knowledge of standards, procedures and work practices; follows project execution flow chart; good skills in project and technical execution
Able to lead Project Engineering team; manage between Engineering Discipline Groups
Competent at managing technical matters and interfaces with Third Parties
