Club Lounge Manager


As a Club Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all tasks, including:


  1. Monitor guest relations’ personnel to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure.
  2. Ensure IHG Rewards Club members consistently receive all benefits, repeat guests and other VIPs receive special recognition and service.
  3. Inspect all VIP rooms prior to arrival.
  4. Liaise with other departments and necessary outside contracts to ensure excellent service delivery.
  5. Input guest data into Opera history system.
  6. Assist to promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities.
  7. Handle guest complaints and refer them as necessary, following up on corrective action.
  8. Assist in reviewing arrival lists for all arrivals and VIPs to check room allocations, amenities, and special requests.
  9. Services offered for the Club Lounge with the aim to maximize guest satisfaction.
  10. Co-ordinate closely with the F&B department regarding the menus for breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktails.
  11. Ensure the breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails are checked before guest arrival.
  12. Check the cleanliness of the Club Floor and Lounge.
  13. Ensure the Club attendants are knowledgeable in the F&B menu, cocktails, and room facilities.
  14. Ensure the personnel maintain the appearance, discipline, and efficiency of all staff under direct supervision and initiate immediate remedial action if necessary.
  15. Prepare efficient work schedules for Guest Relations Staff, arranging holidays and vacation, taking into consideration project occupancy and forecasts and any large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals or departures.
  16. Check weekly on report for long-staying guests, establish and maintain contact with the guests. Entertain them occasionally.
  17. Check long-staying guest list for sending weekly fruits and flowers.
  18. Monitor files on hotel facilities, airline schedules, transportation schedules/routes and course, map and other relevant tourist information.
  19. Assist the Director of Rooms in preparation of IHG Rewards Club and VIP arrivals, when necessary.
  20. Be sensitive to know the guests’ birthdays, anniversaries, honey-moons, etc.
  21. Make courtesy calls to guests to gather feedback.
  22. Be conversant with all hotels’ activities by reading event orders, Public Relations materials, and promotion of competitor advertisements in the media for details on special promotions.
  23. Ensure knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures, for programs such as Seasonal Packages, Frequent Flyers Programs, and IHG Intercontinental Hotels Group Loyalty programs.
  24. Co-ordinate with the Finance Department to conduct monthly inventory.
  25. Oversee the operation in the absence of the manager.
  26. Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage VIP guest relations and ensure exceptional service delivery.
  3. Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
  4. Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera), and knowledge of IHG Rewards Club and F&B coordination.
