Senior Film Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Filmmaking Senior Specialist is responsible for creating compelling video and photo content for Red Sea Studios, with a focus on creative videography, photography, and strong video editing skills for effective storytelling. They will collaborate closely with all Red Sea Global departments based on-site to understand their content needs and produce high-quality visual materials. The role includes planning, shooting, editing, and finalizing video and photo projects. The specialist ensures that all content meets the required standards, aligns with the company’s branding, and meets deadlines. They will work closely with clients to incorporate feedback, make revisions, and maintain organized project files for future reference.

Job Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality photos and videos using provided camera equipment.
• Operate drones to capture aerial photos and videos.
• Utilize swift video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro to create polished final products.
• Edit photos quickly using Adobe Lightroom for fast retouching and enhancement.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project goals and provide feedback.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Collaborate in brainstorming sessions with the team to generate creative ideas for visual content.
• Contribute to creative direction and offer insights during team meetings and design reviews.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all photo and video projects for easy access and future reference.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in relevant field.

• Fluent in Arabic and English.

• Ready to relocate to Red Sea Projects Sites and AMAALA.

• Experienced with a strong portfolio.

• Good understanding of filmmaking principles.

• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop (Knowing them way around other software such as Davinci Resolve and Blender is a plus).

• Good framing, quick with setting up equipment.

• Expert in event coverage and having idea of all necessary elements to be covered at any event.

• Good at dealing with camera footage, RAW files and project file management.

• Good ear for choosing the right music and sound effects that sync and work with the vibes of the video.

• Good retouching skills for photos.

• Strong sense of composition and color.

• Creative and knowledgeable about trends in visual effects and filmmaking.

• Experienced in presenting work to stakeholders and giving and receiving feedback.

• Collaborating with different stake holders with passion and respect.
