Staff Nurse

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.

Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients at home, following established medical protocols.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
3. Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments while ensuring proper documentation.
4. Monitor patients’ conditions and report any significant changes to the physician or nursing supervisor.
5. Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and self-care techniques.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
7. Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times.
8. Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.

Qualifications

1. Education: Diploma in nursing preferred, BSN.
2. License: Valid Nursing License (MOH/SCHS).
3. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in home healthcare or a hospital setting.
4. SCFHS and MOH Licenses.
5. Certifications: BLS certification is mandatory, while ACLS certification is preferred. If not already obtained, ACLS certification can be completed during the probation period.
6. Dialysis Experience Preferred
