Job Description:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Oracle Forms 6i applications and Oracle 11g database.
- Work directly with business users to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and implement new features, including forms, reports, and database objects, based on user requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in project planning and estimation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing and supporting business applications using Oracle Forms 6i and Oracle 11g.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Reports.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and design.
- Experience with requirement gathering and working directly with business users.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, eMIS etc.) is a strong plus.
Work Timings: 10:00AM to 7:00PM
Work Mode: Onsite
Work Days: Sunday - Thursday
