Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time Finance Manager role at AMAAR located in Dammam. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, monitoring cash flow, and budgeting. The role will also involve collaborating with other departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist GCFO in developing and implementing financial planning, analysis & cost and budgetary control, variance analysis, and credit control.
  2. Assist GCFO in developing annual budget forecasting information for executive and corporate reports and monitor and report budgetary discrepancies to corporate senior management to maximize reporting efficiency and finalize spending plans.
  3. Assist GCFO in developing and maintaining internal control and effective accounting systems and policies for operational and financial analysis and ensure the intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy.
  4. Analyze and review the financial data verify its validity and report to the GCFO, including the actual monthly, quarterly, and annual. Also ensure the accuracy of variance reports and operational analysis reports, profit, and loss reports.
  5. Review and analyze contracts and purchase orders, and the extent of compliance with the budget and issue variance reports and preparation of variance reports of the actual cost compared to the estimated costs.
  6. Manage all accounting functions; bank facilities, AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, revenues, cost of revenues, etc. that comply with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) or International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).
  7. Assist GCFO in the consolidation of the group’s Finance and Accounts functions and conduct monthly and quarterly accounts reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance of the group of companies.
  8. Plan and perform audits for preparing audit plans managing multiple audit assignments and leading the teams in preparing audit-required documents to achieve audit objectives and coordinate with various Auditors / Consultants / Taxation experts to finalize the deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis skills
  • Budgeting and Cash Flow management skills
  • Experience in Financial Operations
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Dammam
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
