Senior Information Security Architect

The Senior Information Security Architect will work closely with various teams to design, implement and maintain security solutions, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations, and mitigating security risks.

This role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be Saudi nationals.

Description

The Senior Information Security Architect will be responsible for:

1. Developing and aligning cybersecurity strategy with overall organisation strategy and objectives
2. Architecting, developing, implementing and integrating security solutions and controls to safeguard critical data and systems against cyber threats
3. Defining secure coding standards
4. Working closely with IT, network and operations teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly into IT systems
5. Periodic security reviews to identify gaps in security architecture and supporting the development of a security risk management plan
6. Overseeing Information Security projects
7. Maintaining and continuously improving clear and accurate documentation of security policies, procedures and security system configurations
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in cybersecurity and suggesting improvements to security practices and technologies

Profile

The Senior Information Security Architect will be/have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields of study
2. 5+ years of experience in Information Security, of which at least 2 years must have been in security architecture
3. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, etc.)
4. Strong knowledge of security architectures, frameworks, and technologies
5. Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SAMA, NCA) and compliance audits
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset to design scalable and effective security solutions
7. Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams
9. Excellent stakeholder management skills
10. Based in/willing to relocate to Riyadh
11. A Saudi national

Job Offer

The salary for the Senior Information Security Architect will be between SAR 25,000-40,000 depending on level/depth of experience.
