To carry out all Quality Control (QC) functions during welding activities according to the client specification, scope of work, codes, standards, approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and documented procedures in order to ensure quality services.
Key Accountabilities:
Review and analyze all ITPs, QCP, Method Statement, Material Approval in order to prepare the inspection plan, including a checklist of inspection points.
Carry out inspections during the welding activities in order to ensure compliance of works, specifications, quality, and other applicable standards.
Schedule, coordinate and monitor the calibration of all measuring devices, instruments, equipment and systems in order to ensure standards are met.
Assist in the handling of non-conformities in order to support their resolution following an inspection.
Implement safety & QMS Procedures in order to ensure that the welding activities are in compliance with company standards and completion.
Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedures for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Zamil Offshore and departmental requirements, policies and quality standards.
Skills:
Knowledge of ISO and other international quality standards.
Capability to conduct Quality Auditing.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong English communication skills – verbal and written.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
