The Job Overview
We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to lead our supply chain and logistics operations. In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of our product flow, from procurement and inventory management to warehousing and transportation. You will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities
Coordination between vendors at origin, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams for all inbound shipments to ensure accountability for cargo ready dates, sailing and delivery dates
Daily tracking of all inbound shipments into our warehouses across the globe, including coordination of appointments across systems and communication to internal teams
Responsible for obtaining and checking all shipping documents, including but not limited to packing lists, bill of lading, and proof of delivery (POD)
Manage shipped vs received cargo audit to ensure a full delivery on each purchase order
Determine liability based on Shipping Proof, Packing List and PODs for cargo damage/loss/warehouse under receipt
Assist in three way matching for all orders to ensure compliance and clean documentation within our ERP
Assist in compiling production status updates and reporting weekly to internal team
Uphold Ridge production QC policy, coordinate onsite inspections, and handle all pre-production and studio samples
Coordinate sample & parts delivery between suppliers as well as generate monthly on hand report for component inventory at origin
The Profile Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in an inbound logistics role managing shipments from Asia to the United States, experience with Section 321 in-bond shipments a plus
Experience using ERP systems, a plus if Fulfil.io
Experience with warehouse operations and logistics management systems (WMS, TMS)
Proven track record of success in improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
Can work in any US Time zone (CST, EST, PST)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong English communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
