Description

The air-conditioning technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air-conditioning equipment. They can even do heating or refrigeration work, as they are trained to work on both heating and cooling units, including motors, switches, pumps, wiring, thermostats, and fans.

Key Responsibilities

1. The A/C Technicians install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioners.
2. Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
3. Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
4. Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
5. Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged.
6. Make adjustments and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
7. Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
8. Inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.
9. Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
10. Make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Very good knowledge of air conditioning operation.
