Demand Planner | Al-Futtaim Automotive | BYD | Riyadh

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize data analysis tools to identify demand trends, inventory patterns, and assess supply chain performance.
2. Foster close collaboration with suppliers to guarantee punctual and adequate delivery of materials or products in accordance with specifications.
3. Regularly assess inventory levels and proactively adapt orders as required to maintain the ideal stock levels.
4. Diligently oversee inventory levels and take proactive measures to adjust orders as necessary for sustaining optimal stock levels.

Skills:

Required Skills to be successful:

1. Demonstrated experience developing management reporting packs and presenting to senior leadership.
2. Skilled in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
3. Understanding of agile way of working.
4. Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems & Supply chain modules in other ERP systems like SAP.

About the Team:

The Demand Planner will be reporting to the Operations Manager and is part of the inventory control team in Global Aftersales at Al Futtaim Automotive. The team is responsible for balancing the inventory cost with service level as per business recommendation.

What equips you for the role:

1. Bachelor's/Master’s in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Around 5 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain, preferably with Automotive experience.
3. Extensive knowledge of Inventory management systems.
4. Business development and process improvement skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/MS Projects).
