One of our clients in the renewable energy industry in Saudi Arabia is hiring for the position of M&V Engineer.
Location: Riyadh
Years of Experience: 3 - 5

Responsibilities
Develop and implement M&V plans for energy savings performance contracting (ESPC) projects at various facilities.
Analyze and normalize utility data using linear regressions and other analyses.
Supervise baseline and pre/post-installation data collection, including trend data from building automation systems, field measurements, data loggers, and performance tests.
Provide technical assistance with ongoing review of data from energy management systems, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and energy savings analysis in coordination with the Asset Management Team.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual energy savings reports in line with the IPMVP protocols and facilitate the billing process with customers.
Participate in data collection and performance verification of baseline and retrofitted equipment.
Conduct spot measurements and short-term data collection during the ESPC lifecycle as required.
Analyze the energy management control systems operation, sequences, and trend data for system optimization and compliance with the M&V plan.
Perform on-site troubleshooting and data logging to validate and correct project performance.
Prepare savings performance analysis, reporting, and/or presentations for customers. Educate the customer on the results.
Prepare customer meeting reports to document all agreements and needed actions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) is a must.
Experience with BMS background is mandatory.
Experience
Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry.
Experience with HVAC Engineering desired, including building controls and management systems.
2-3 years' experience in engineering and energy savings calculations for performance contracting, knowledge and practice of M&V protocols and guidelines.
Knowledge & Skills
Must have functional knowledge about the workings of an energy management company/ESCO.
Good interpersonal skills in maintaining business relationships with clients.
Proficient in Microsoft Power BI & Excel including VBA.
Advanced skills in Excel, Word, SQL, Access, Outlook, Tableau use, and programming.
Experience with building energy simulation software programs such as eQUEST, EnergyPlus, etc.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide sound and reliable judgment in business solutions.
