We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to manage and maintain all project-related documents and records, ensuring their accuracy, quality, and accessibility. Experience in the fire fighting and fire alarm industry is an advantage, as familiarity with technical documentation and regulatory compliance is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing project documents, including drawings, reports, manuals, and correspondence.
Ensure proper version control and document numbering for easy retrieval and reference.
Ensure all documentation complies with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic audits to verify document accuracy and completeness.
Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients to collect, distribute, and archive documents.
Provide support during audits, inspections, and reviews by ensuring required documents are available and updated.
Train team members on document control procedures and software usage.
Prepare and distribute regular status reports on document control activities.
Ensure timely updates of project records and communicate any discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in the fire fighting and fire alarm industry or a related technical field.
