As a Senior Logistics Manager, you will lead and oversee all logistics activities for a high-profile Giga project in Saudi Arabia. This role involves strategic planning and management of logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics for large-scale projects in the KSA. He/She ensures that all delivery is in-line with Knight Frank's GENOME and IHub.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute logistics strategies and plans to support project goals and timelines.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, ensuring high performance and effective coordination.
• Optimize logistics processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring reliable and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to align logistics activities with project schedules and requirements.
• Manage inventory control and storage, ensuring accurate tracking and optimal stock levels.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
• Develop and manage logistics budgets, controlling costs and ensuring financial efficiency.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex logistics issues and delays.
• Track and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular updates and reports on logistics operations and performance to senior management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering or a related field.
• 15 years experience operating as a Logistics Manager.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of logistics professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Manage logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Understanding of logistics costs and budgeting.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., transportation management systems, warehouse management systems).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
