Job Title: Chief Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to manage the Engineering Team and ensure the efficient operation of all hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of building management/engineering, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Engineering Team in day-to-day operations, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to prioritize maintenance activities for Guest rooms and public areas
• Develop systems to ensure health and safety of Guests and Team Members
• Communicate with Government agencies to ensure compliance with statutory regulations
• Prepare budgets for Engineering and perform daily checks around the hotel
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Engineering or similar field
• Exposure to budgeting and basic accounting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent grooming standards and flexibility to respond to different work situations

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
