We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations at our chemical manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and mechanics to carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, including production machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing, Instrument, and electrical systems.
Implement a comprehensive maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
Analyze maintenance data and generate reports to identify trends, optimize maintenance schedules, and make data-driven decisions.
Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Responsible for maintenance-related procurement & spare parts inventory.
Train and develop the maintenance team to continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related inquiries and issues.
Skills
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor or lead technician role, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals
Strong commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a safe work environment
Experience with budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations
