Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Instrumentation & Controls technical direction and implement project construction work processes, procedures, manuals, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all company statutory procedures and quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and perform technical audits, in-progress inspections, testing, and surveillance activities.
- Perform front-end activities supporting the development of site automation plans and temporary facilities.
- Coordinate with and support construction vendor representatives.
- Monitor generation of field materials requisitions and receipt of materials.
- Prepare and disseminate required documentation records such as status reports and punch lists.
- Participate in and support the Projects’ Safety Program.
- Assist in the preparation of any necessary procedures for the Project.
- Perform all field engineering for discipline requirements.
- Be the primary contact for project technical support.
- Perform quality inspections and liaise with the Customer’s inspection group.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports for defective or non-conforming workmanship or materials.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the Turnover Dossier.
- Ensure all testing, pre-commissioning, and Turnover activities align with the Project Schedule.
- Attend Project progress meetings and deliver status updates on site engineering activities.
- Complete other responsibilities as required by the Chief Field Engineer.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in engineering management systems, processes, and tools.
- Excellent technical and practical skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Sound experience in the relevant discipline, including report preparation.
- Previous technical, practical, and leadership experience in construction management.
- Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- A recognized degree or equivalent qualification.
- Additional post-graduate qualifications or training.
