Job Summary
The Senior SAP ERP Consultant will oversee and guide end-to-end implementation and optimization of SAP solutions within a beverage production environment. This role demands significant expertise in both SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA, enabling the consultant to provide strategic direction on system selection, upgrades, and migrations.
Responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts to ensure business processes and requirements are accurately captured and translated into effective SAP configurations. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing current processes, recommending improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of SAP technologies with business operations.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Leadership & Oversight:
Lead SAP ERP initiatives, covering both ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA, from inception through go-live and post-implementation support.
Business Process Analysis & Design:
Work in tandem with business analysts to understand current and proposed processes in the beverage production environment.
System Configuration & Functional Expertise:
Configure and optimize SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) across both ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA landscapes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Facilitate workshops with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and drive project success.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Develop testing strategies, oversee the creation of test plans, and guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Training & Change Management:
Partner with change management teams to develop and deliver comprehensive training for end users on ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA functionalities.
Post-Implementation Support & Continuous Improvement:
Offer expertise during hypercare phases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations in the beverage production context.
