Senior Project Manager

Job Description

A Senior Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.

Additional Details:

1. Plan and coordinate projects utilizing project methodologies and related tools to bring projects to successful completion, within scope, on time, and within budget.
2. Lead team and stakeholder meetings, using engaging, informative presentation methodologies.
3. Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, and scheduling.
4. Deliver timely and effective updates to internal and external contacts.
5. Manage project risk and change management and take an active role in resolving conflicts and delivering solutions.
6. Oversee activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule.
7. Create and maintain project documentation.
8. Represent the hospital project amongst local authorities and other relevant stakeholders for issues related to the project.
9. Have overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the project.
10. In collaboration with the Hospital Team, ensure accurate data and information collection and analyze it for adequate implementation of the hospital project within the frame determined by the delegation.
11. Develop plans of action, lead their implementation and, when required, adapt the orientation of the project to fulfill the objectives.
12. Ensure a systematic and accurate reporting system for all hospital activities.
13. Ensure that the staff has resources, skill sets, and tools necessary to accomplish our mission by identifying ongoing educational and training opportunities.
14. Ensure project outcomes meet or exceed expectations in terms of scope, timeliness, and quality by conducting close-out project evaluations.
15. Serve as a subject matter expert within the organization for project management knowledge.
16. Continuously assess and improve the PMO team functions and processes while enhancing and updating Project Management methodology and tools for the PMO.
17. Perform all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
18. Perform all other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements and Responsibilities

1. Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Health/Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university with a minimum of six (6) years experience working in project management (Essential).
2. OR, Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Health/Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of four (4) years experience working in project management (Essential).
3. Membership of Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent (Essential).
4. Experience in a healthcare facility/hospital setting (Desirable).
