Role Overview:

The Commercial Leader will oversee and manage both the sales and marketing functions for Immensa in the Middle East. You will lead a large sales team, drive complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, and coordinate marketing strategies and initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals. This role will be responsible for the execution of both sales and marketing activities to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and deliver outstanding results for Immensa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead, recruit, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Set clear sales targets, track progress, and ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement innovative commercial strategies to drive growth within the Energy and Industrial sectors in the Middle East region. Identify key business opportunities, including emerging markets and new sectors.
  • Complex Sales Management: Lead and close complex, high-value sales, often involving multiple stakeholders. Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers in client organizations, partners, and industry influencers. Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of contracts and projects.
  • Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Oversee and lead the marketing function, ensuring alignment with the sales strategy. Develop and implement marketing campaigns, content strategies, and brand positioning efforts to support sales and increase market presence.
  • Brand Development: Lead efforts to enhance Immensa's brand visibility in the Energy and Industrial sectors across the Middle East. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints and marketing channels.
  • Lead Generation & Marketing Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted lead-generation campaigns and strategies. Ensure seamless coordination between marketing and sales efforts, optimizing the conversion of marketing-qualified leads to sales opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, networking, and industry events. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze both sales and marketing performance, KPIs, and market trends. Provide regular updates and actionable insights to the senior leadership team on the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship and training to both the sales and marketing teams to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth within both departments.
  • Collaboration with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align on corporate goals, provide commercial input into strategic decisions, and share insights on market trends and client needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both sales and marketing, with experience in the energy or industrial sectors, particularly within the Middle East region. You will be a dynamic and results-driven leader with a proven track record of driving commercial growth, leading large teams, and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies. Key experience and attributes include:

  • Industry Experience: Significant experience working in the Energy or Industrial sectors in the Middle East region. Familiarity with local market dynamics, regulations, and key industry players.
  • Sales & Marketing Leadership: Proven experience in recruiting, leading, and motivating large sales and marketing teams. A track record of successfully driving sales and marketing alignment to achieve business growth.
  • Complex Sales Expertise: Experience in managing and closing complex sales with multiple stakeholders across different industries. Ability to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Integrated Marketing Strategy: Proven experience in developing and leading comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales conversions. Ability to create and execute targeted campaigns. • Professional Services Background: A background in Professional Services or a related field is preferred. Ability to tailor services to client needs and manage service-based engagements.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate fast[1]changing markets, seize new opportunities, and drive business development initiatives.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Cultural Awareness: An understanding of cultural differences and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, especially in the Middle East region.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
