Job Description
This role will be responsible for the organization's branding, both internal and external, to boost ENGIE Saudi Arabia’s brand visibility to target audiences through effective use of technology and innovative mediums.
Responsibilities
- Overarching responsibility for Saudi Arabia’s internal and external communications.
- Develop corporate communications strategy, plan, and budget for ENGIE in Saudi Arabia.
- Build ENGIE’s visibility in the country, aligned with the business objectives.
- Communicate regularly aligned with tenders, financial closes, project milestones, project delivery, and general business communications.
- Understand the needs of the organization to produce effective communication strategies and campaigns.
- Create interest and demand through media, press releases, conferences, interviews, content management, internal communications, risk management, and collaterals.
- Manage all external events and exhibitions, including content delivery and key messages.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to support industry knowledge and understanding of the market.
- Set up policies/guidelines for all media interactions within the organization.
- Create content through investigatory means: collaterals, films, animations, infographics, presentations, and fact sheets.
- Develop and write collateral pieces, advertising, newsletters, social media, and website content.
- Develop executive speeches and key messages for ENGIE speakers externally.
- Oversee and deliver all digital and online media including website, social media strategy, and sponsored content.
- Create and grow strategic stakeholder relationships with external parties such as government, local councils, and media.
- Drive proactive and reactive communications internally to support the business and build brand strength and visibility.
- Monitor corporate reputation and crisis communications.
- Manage Investor and Media Relations for Saudi Arabia.
- Organize and communicate all ENGIE CSR initiatives and university collaborations.
- Coordinate internal communications across ENGIE Saudi Arabia.
- Ensure compliance with ENGIE Brand Guidelines.
- Work with regional communications to stay aligned with ENGIE’s global ambitions.
Qualifications
Education: Full-time professional degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or equivalent.
Language Requirements
Fluent in English and Arabic (verbal and written skills); other languages are a benefit.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Communications professional.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated success in a cost and delivery-focused environment.
- Creative solutions to internal customer needs.
- Excellent writing, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Must be very organized with the ability to manage several simultaneous projects/activities.
- Flexible, creative, proactive, and stress-resistant.
- Competent project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize projects and tasks.
- Appetite to work in an international environment.
