Preparation of documents, loop checking, and troubleshooting.
Reviewing logic diagrams, sequence flow charts, safeguarding, fire & gas logic, and startup lineup of all instruments.
Preparation and review of pre-commissioning/commissioning documents, check sheets, and test sheets.
Performing and witnessing all types of Instrument TX, control valves, ESD, ON/OFF valves, and MOV.
Conducting loop checking and fault finding as per loop wiring & schematic logic diagrams.
Performing control valve & ESD valve operation and stroke tests.
Startup timeline for all instruments and ensuring level transmitters are filled with the particular fluid in the tubing.
Troubleshooting all types of instruments and lineup of the instruments.
Witnessing and accepting the commissioning loop folders as per system & subsystem.
Preparation of punch list and review of pre-commissioning & commissioning dossiers.
Assisting vendor engineers in configuring points values, alarm set points, H/L points, and service descriptions for the respective loops based on client feedback.
Understanding and solving loop diagrams, interlock drawings, cause & effect, instrument hook-up, P&ID, layout drawings, and all panel & vendor wiring details.
Skills:
Experience with Saudi Aramco Oil & Gas projects is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or equivalent.
