Senior OutSystems Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior OutSystems Developer to contribute and play a vital role in the design, development, and maintenance of applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. You will be responsible for leading the development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highly scalable web and mobile backend applications that leverage the Low-code technology Stack (OutSystems).
• Application Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
• Integration: Design and implement integrations with various systems, databases, and third-party services.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including application architecture, design, and coding standards.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest OutSystems features, trends, and industry best practices, and apply them to enhance the development process.
• Project Management: Work closely with project managers to define project scope, estimate development efforts, and ensure timely project delivery.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as developer with strong knowledge in object-oriented architecture, design, and development using .NET or Java.
• 2+ years of experience as an OutSystems Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful OutSystems projects.
• Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with modern development approaches (containerization, micro-services, modular reactive web applications).
• Experience in building data intensive systems.
• Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, TDD, etc.
• Be able to investigate issues under tight time constraints and be able to prioritize work accordingly.
• Experience working with Agile engineering practices.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines.
• Required Soft skills: Leadership, Teamwork, Mentorship and Coaching, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Emotional Intelligence, Delegation and Prioritization and Strong Decision-Making Skills, Attention to Details.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• OutSystems Associate or Professional certification is highly desirable.
