Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead Tarkeeb Lab. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the creative industry in Saudi Arabia, a passion for inspiring creativity, and the leadership skills necessary to drive our agency's growth and success. The General Manager will play a critical role in driving both revenue growth and overall business expansion by securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading the agency's sales efforts. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the agency's operations, including sales, creative direction, project management, client relationships, financial performance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the strategic plan and direction for Tarkeeb Lab, aligning with SEA Ventures Group vision and goals.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the Saudi creative industry.
- Identify and evaluate new service offerings or market segments to expand Tarkeeb Lab's reach and impact.
- Effectively communicate the strategic vision and goals of the agency to internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within the agency.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Lead the agency's sales efforts, developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new clients and expand existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Negotiate contracts and manage client billing to ensure timely payments.
- Creative Direction:
- Provide overall creative leadership and guidance to Tarkeeb Lab's creative team.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of creative output across all projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective creative solutions.
- Inspire and motivate the creative team to deliver exceptional work that exceeds client expectations.
- Operational Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the agency, including resource allocation, project workflows, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain efficient operational processes and procedures to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of creative talent.
- Implement project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and tools relevant to the creative industry and evaluate their potential for enhancing agency workflows and output.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing timely updates on project progress.
- Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage Tarkeeb Lab's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of creative professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
- Identify training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a creative agency or related industry.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, with a track record of securing new clients and generating revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the creative process, including branding, advertising, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful creative campaigns.
- Desirable:
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with clients in diverse industries.
- Existing network of contacts within the Saudi creative industry.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
