JASARA PMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager – Logistics and Operations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics and operational planning and execution for our key projects.
As the Senior Manager of Logistics and Operations, you will be responsible for developing logistics and security strategies to effectively manage logistics operations on construction sites with multiple contractors. The ideal candidate should have a background in operations and control with a track record of success in managing logistics operations for complex mixed-use and entertainment projects.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior Director of logistics in all logistics operations of construction activities.
Develop the logistics operations plan and strategy to support the construction of fixed assets.
Produce lookahead plans based on commodity demands for logistics and identify key pinch points for operations and security to ensure they are managed and mitigated.
Develop the scope of services for all logistics operations and security to augment the delivery of infrastructure and mixed-use assets.
Develop the logistics operations and security onboarding plans for all contractors to ensure consistency with all processes and governance.
Review the contractor’s logistics operations and security plans to ensure alignment with the overall strategy for the project and the district.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
PMP or other relevant project management certification (e.g., Prince2, Agile, etc.) - Desirable.
12 – 15 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, leading complex projects from initiation to closure.
Evidence of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Diverse experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors.
Previous KSA / Middle East experience preferred.
Foster a culture of flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements.
Expertly manage and prioritize the workload of the team, deadline driven.
Leverage exceptional written and verbal skills in English to effectively articulate ideas, strategies, and project performance to a range of audiences.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Aconex, or similar systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams, and deliver results.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead the commercial function's direction, specifically endorsing or opposing practices as needed.
Significant experience in the development, implementation, and management of business systems, including policies and procedures.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver challenging goals and objectives using industry knowledge to aid decision-making.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across multiple departments.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
