We are looking for an experienced Linux and DevOps engineer who will be responsible for the upkeep of the published services. If you have a solid background in both development and operations and are familiar with Linux, Bash, Python and have a passion to work and think out-of-the-box, we would love to talk with you.
Requirements
You will be trusted to:
Work on ways to automate and improve processes
Test and examine code written by others and analyze results
Ensure that the systems are safe and secure against cyber threats
Identify technical problems and develop/propose updates or fixes
Build and set up new tools and infrastructure
You qualify with:
Five or more years of experience with Linux administration or certified Red Hat Engineer. Having both is a plus.
A degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, engineering, or a relevant field may be substituted for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
Knowledge of Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat configuration, fine-tuning, batching, and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Python and Linux Shell
In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and system administration
Good knowledge of software engineering principles
Understanding of the main security principles
Good knowledge of fault tolerance and high availability principles
Good knowledge of Git and Git workflows
Good knowledge of DevOps methodology and tools
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
Knowledge of the latest software technologies/frameworks like Splunk, Jira, Ansible, JSON, XML is a plus.
