Responsibilities
The role is the lead on Occupational Hygiene and supports the overall Occupational Health and Wellbeing strategy and plan.
The role will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing deployment and management of Occupational Hygiene requirements, relevant tools and activities and the monitoring and reporting of compliance for the KSA business.
The role involves a wide range of activities and requires the job holder to plan, deliver and deploy appropriate Occupational Hygiene interventions in support of business aims, targets and objectives.
Job Requirements:
Developing and supporting the Occupational Hygiene requirements in support of the overall Health and Wellbeing strategy.
Occupational Hygiene reporting includes (but not limited to):
Maintaining any systems and processes for the collection and collation of relevant data.
Data integrity of all Occupational Hygiene data that is published both internally and externally.
The role holder will:
Determine the requirements for Occupational Hygiene across Air KSA legal entities using best available techniques aligned to the Health and Safety at work etc Act 1974.
Develop and issue processes and tools to enable the implementation and compliance to Occupational Hygiene requirements.
The role holder will be a key interface with internal and external stakeholders and regulators.

Knowledge:
While a professional role, the job holder is required to hold a technical understanding of safety, health and environmental management standards and practice. The role holder will be an experienced SHE professional with a strong understanding of SHE requirements, internal and external best practice and able to bring their experience to articulate these in order to influence those in key roles in the organisation.
Skills:
The role requires a strong ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of the business or site(s) and externally. Stakeholders include (not limited to) Line of Business Management Committees, Site/Functional Directors, Regulators, Professional Bodies, Suppliers and Customers.
Due to the nature of the work environment, the job holder is required to have the ability to solve problems and make decisions in a dynamic way. The role requires analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of situations.
The role also requires effective communication skills able to negotiate internally and externally across a range of levels and with high-level sensitivity to multiple audiences.
Qualifications:
The role holder should hold one or more of the following QCF/NQF Level 3 (or higher) SHE qualifications.
