Senior Researcher (Media)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of media trends, sentiment, and narratives relevant to the company’s priorities.
- Prepare detailed media intelligence reports to support decision-making on communication strategies.
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track and evaluate the performance of media communication strategies.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the media landscape and recommend actions to enhance public positioning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure media insights are integrated into broader communication plans.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, trends, and narratives from traditional and digital platforms.
- Identify and report on issues and developments relevant to the organization.
- Maintain and update media intelligence databases with collected information.
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing media insights, trends, and identified patterns.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Expertise in media research, reporting, and trend analysis.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in delivering strategic media insights and aligning them with corporate objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in media research, analysis and database management.
- Proficiency in media tracking tools and systems.
- Ability to consolidate and interpret data for regular reporting.
- Proficiency in speaking the English and Arabic language is required.
- Microsoft software skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Word Document).
