IT Director - Riyadh - Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic

We are seeking an accomplished IT Director to lead our information technology strategy and operations. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in IT management, a deep understanding of industry standards, and a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions that contribute to organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and execute the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives, ensuring compliance with industry requirements.
2. Supervise significant IT projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget while adhering to quality benchmarks.
3. Inspire and guide a team of IT professionals, promoting a culture of teamwork and ongoing enhancement.
4. Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to pinpoint technology needs and areas for improvement.
5. Guarantee that all IT operations meet industry security and regulatory standards, including data protection and risk management protocols.
6. Cultivate relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that service delivery aligns with organizational expectations.
7. Design and oversee the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support business goals.
8. Regularly assess IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business objectives.
9. Encourage a culture of innovation within the IT team, exploring new technologies that can enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
2. At least 12 years of experience in IT management, particularly in large-scale enterprise environments; experience in the oil and gas sector is advantageous.
3. Must hold approval from major energy company and possess a comprehensive understanding of their IT frameworks and standards.
4. Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software solutions.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive transformation, and manage complex projects effectively.
6. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
