Supply Chain and Procurement General Manager
The Supply Chain General Manager is responsible for designing strategies, overseeing procurement processes, managing supplier relations, enforcing supply chain policies, overseeing the tendering process, ensuring legal compliance, managing contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and continuously improving supply chain efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design strategies and oversee procurement processes to acquire goods and services at the best cost and quality.
- Manage supplier relations and resolve any conflicts to ensure timely procurement.
- Develop and enforce supply chain and procurement policies in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end tendering process for fair and competitive bidding.
- Ensure transparency and legal compliance in all supply chain activities.
- Manage contracts master list and monitor contract status.
- Monitor supplier registration and evaluate performance.
- Effectively manage materials to optimize stocking and distribution.
- Develop cost-effective strategies for material stocking and distribution.
- Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities as directed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven work experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and supply chain policies.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in supply chain management or procurement is preferred.
