Job Description: To manage parts counter sales operations, enhance customer relationship management, and lead the identification of business opportunities in order to sustain and increase sales and market share within ACC strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Planning:
- Participate in design and implement Parts Sales plans and roadmap to support in setting the company strategy.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify Parts Sales required projects to meet future business demands.
- Plan, monitor and lead counter sales activities to ensure achievement of sales targets and propose corrective actions as appropriate.
- Analyze and review sales activities to prepare and forecast future customer needs and identify opportunities for cross and up-selling where appropriate.
- Validate and review discount recommendations proposed by the team, as well as authorize further discounts to maintain and win customers within the authorized sales discount percentages.
- Monitor and identify market trends and competitor offerings to improve sales and maintain ACC competitive positioning.
- Review, validate and approve lost sales corrective actions to enhance sales operations and increase future sales.
- Monitor and improve sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and improve the competitive position of the company.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with customers to identify their current and future needs and position ACC offerings competitively.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of customer relationship management techniques by the Sales team and ensure the market's trends and offerings.
- Address and resolve disputes with customers to ensure customer retention and protect ACC market positioning.
Budget:
- Participate in Parts Sales budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process.
- Investigate and propose implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for ACC and mitigates financial and operational risks.
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of Sales policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of the department's activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results.
- Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of Sales systems, processes, and practices taking into account leading practices, changes in international standards, and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
- Modification and development of current procedures for best effectiveness and efficiency of POS in accordance with company policies.
Safety, Health and Environment:
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across Sales in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and responsible environmental behaviors.
- Ensure identified and escalated risks are effectively addressed in order to foster a safety, health, and environment culture, mitigate risks, and protect the organization’s interests.
- Monitor changes to legislation and organizational activities, and ensure such changes are covered within all relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
People Management:
- Help instill a culture of development, guidance, and performance within ACC.
- Guide, mentor, and develop the Parts Sales team to take larger and complex responsibilities.
- Identify and recruit key talent for the Parts Sales.
- Provide clear top-down communication to employees and bottom-up feedback to the Management.
- Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise direct reports and provide regular feedback on performance.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in Parts Sales management with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Previous customer relationship management experience is required.
