Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in IT infrastructure or related fields. Basic understanding of computing, networking, storage, and security technologies.
Certification Required: Entry-level certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are an advantage.
The Junior Network & Security Engineer will support the Enterprise Architecture Team in various network, compute, and storage projects. This entry-level role involves hands-on experience with IT infrastructure solutions, including documentation, technical assessments, and project coordination. The role is designed to build foundational skills for a career in IT infrastructure and architecture.
Assist in creating and maintaining documentation, including Engineering Design Packages (EDPs) and technical assessments. Prepare clear, concise reports and communications for project updates and technical findings.
Support senior architects in aligning requirements for IT infrastructure solutions. Contribute to the planning and design of network, compute, and storage systems.
Participate in team meetings, prepare reports, and follow up on action items. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technical alignment and solution delivery.
Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and industry best practices. Assist in evaluating new solutions and technologies under the guidance of senior engineers.
Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of network, compute, storage, and security infrastructure.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail in documentation and communication.
Communication: Effective written and spoken communication skills for preparing reports and technical documentation.
