Section Head I, Regional Sales

An exciting opportunity is available for a Section Head, Regional Sales based in KSA who will report directly to the General Manager.


Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Section Head, Regional Sales who will:

  1. Meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative.
  2. Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  3. Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting the finance department in collection of outstanding debts (ensure no bad debts).
  2. Determining annual plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions, project sales targets, and revenue for existing and new products.
  3. Developing an outward-looking/client-focused sales team that hunts for new work and expands existing relationships.
  4. Acting as a client representative/champion within the company, challenging internal processes and services where necessary in order to further expand the company and its services in serving the market.
  5. Reviewing analyses of internal and external trends and results; reviewing and finalizing pricing strategies and selling prices in line with management approval; advising and acting on monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand in line with MODA.
  6. Managing, developing, coaching, controlling, and motivating the sales team to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales targets and KPI targets are met.
  7. Ensuring strict compliance with all legislation, shareholder, and ethical requirements of himself and his team.
  8. Ensuring that there is a clear process flow within the sales department, with standardized documents, clear roles and accountability, and measurable KPIs.
  9. Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor share, and competitor strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  10. Managing and implementing Key Account Management (KAM) & Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  11. Sustaining rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
  12. Accomplishing marketing missions by attending and arranging conferences and trade shows. Supporting marketing in developing advertisements, promotions, and sales materials such as sell sheets, brochures, and catalogues.
  13. Accomplishing marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
  14. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.
  15. Providing on-the-ground support for the sales team as they generate leads and close new deals.
  16. Compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO standards, and the legal/regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  2. Business & Industry Knowledge (added advantage).
  3. 10 years of experience with a Degree is desirable with 7 years supervisory experience.
