Job Description
We are seeking experienced Electrical Quality Inspectors to join our talent pipeline for an upcoming project in Saudi Arabia. The Electrical Quality Inspector shall maintain, monitor, and ensure the highest quality in services or products. Key accountabilities and activities include:
- Quality Assessments: Conduct regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors.
- Rejection of Non-Quality Materials: Reject products and materials that do not meet quality standards.
- Technical Understanding: Read plans, drawings, and specifications to understand product and service requirements.
- Product Evaluation: Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to specifications.
- Documentation: Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- System Checks: Check cable laying and identification, power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, socket outlets, lighting systems, pneumatic signal connections, fire detection systems, BMS, telephone, CCTV, access control, public address systems, IT systems, TV systems, and audiovisual systems.
- Loop Checks: Perform all relevant loop checks.
- Continuity and Insulation Tests: Conduct tests of continuity and insulation resistance.
- Instrument Calibration: Calibrate instruments and check their installation.
- High/Low Voltage Experience: Have experience working in areas/buildings with high/low voltage and low current electrical installations for infrastructure projects.
- Hazardous Area Knowledge: Have knowledge of electrical installations in hazardous areas.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector with a 3-year Diploma.
- Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Non-Conformities (NCR), Work Inspection Request (WIR), and Material Inspection Request (MIR) processes.
- Fluent in written and spoken technical English.
- Good communication skills.
- Awareness of construction site HSE requirements.
