Mechanical Project Engineer with strong expertise in static and rotating equipment to manage construction/warranty-related jobs in Aramco and SABIC projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in site activities, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth execution of mechanical projects within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage warranty-related jobs for static and rotating equipment.
Knowledge on installation & performance of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, turbines, and piping systems.
Lead the solution for warranty defects and performance-related issues.
Coordinate with Site S/V’s, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Monitor progress and resolve technical issues at site.
Supervise installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings.
Prepare technical specifications and review vendor proposals.
Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
Good reporting skills, able to prepare construction schedules, workforce plans, equipment plans, etc.
Ability to lead and monitor site-related mechanical activities.
Good interface knowledge with other disciplines.
Education & Certification:
BE or B Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years working experience in a similar profile or as a Mechanical Construction Engineer.
Working experience in an EPC industry or construction industry.
Knowledge and Skills Set:
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Good communication skills and strong project management capabilities.
Basic knowledge of mechanical software and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of construction issues and on-site experience (minimum 5 years).
