Role Brief
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end last-mile delivery operations across multiple locations in KSA, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence. You will lead regional teams, drive process improvements, and implement strategies to enhance operational performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Performance Management
- Oversee last-mile delivery operations across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Monitor operational metrics, conduct performance analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations teams, ensuring high engagement and performance.
- Optimize resource allocation, ensuring sufficient staffing levels and efficient route planning.
- Establish and maintain a strong performance-driven culture within the operations team.
Process Optimization & Technology Integration
- Identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions to enhance last-mile logistics operations.
- Leverage technology and automation to improve delivery tracking, route optimization, and fleet management.
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to integrate new tools and systems into operations.
Stakeholder Management & Compliance
- Work closely with internal teams, including warehouse, transportation, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers and partners to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Customer Experience & Quality Control
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Address operational challenges proactively, resolving issues to minimize delivery disruptions.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in last-mile logistics or e-commerce operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of last-mile delivery logistics, fleet management, and route optimization.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to lead large teams, manage high-volume operations, and drive process improvements.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics management systems, data analytics tools, and route optimization software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Adaptability & Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and implement strategic solutions.
