Site Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
2. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
3. Analyze and review project contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
4. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement cost control measures.
5. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms.
6. Monitor project costs and variances, and provide regular reports to management and clients.
7. Assess and manage project risks, including identifying and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
8. Provide advice and guidance to project teams on cost-related matters.

Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
2. Professional qualification such as RICS or equivalent.
3. Minimum 6 years of experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry.
4. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD and cost estimating software.
5. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Experience in Saudi ARAMCO Oil & Gas Project.
