Job Description

This is a key role to provide customer ownership, sales activity, build relationships, and work directly with End-Users and distributors, increase profitability and growth, and ensure end-to-end sales delivery across the product portfolio. You will provide technical advice to customers, manage individual territories, and conduct sales forecasting across accounts.


Reporting to the Sector Country Manager, you will be responsible for executing sales delivery in the designated end market sector to meet sales forecasts and KPIs.


In this role, you will be responsible for sales strategy and delivery, forecasting, and channel management, specifically for the Oil & Gas market sector value proposition. You will act as the regional voice of the customer, manage budgets, perform project oversight, and deliver operational excellence across different channels in collaboration with other internal teams. Additionally, you will use business development approaches to expand the customer base and potential revenue streams by identifying and setting up new customers.


The role will suit responsibilities of delivering sales against agreed-upon targets, providing technical advice to customers, growing current sales accounts, feeding business intelligence into line managers, and working with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.


Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or recognized qualification in Engineering
  • Sales experience in manufacturing & distribution (industrial engineering ideal) with a proven track record of success, likely gained from at least 2-4 years in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience of sales techniques
  • Proven previous experience and customer network in the Water & Power industry/utilities
  • Fluent in English

  • Industry experience or knowledge based on an Oil & Gas background
  • Charismatic and inspiring personality with strong entrepreneurial flair and business acumen; passion for business growth
  • Collaborative working across a variety of business units, challenging siloed thinking wherever it appears
  • Demonstrate an appetite and ability to work collaboratively in a complex and matrixed business
