HSE Officer

We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to identify, assess, analyze, and solve issues as a safety professional.

The HSE Officer role demands involvement across all functions to ensure the safety of all.

Responsibilities

1. Implement and monitor compliance with company health, safety, and policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace environment.
2. Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and to find ways to prevent them in the future.
3. Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
4. Coordinate emergency response plans and procedures.
5. Manage the disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with legal and environmental requirements.
6. Review and approve new equipment or chemicals from an HSE perspective before they are introduced to the workplace.
7. Liaise with external HSE regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with local, environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements and Skills

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
2. Ability to solve problems.
3. Knowledge in safety.
4. Ability to work under pressure.
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. Time management.
7. Degree in Safety Management or any related field.
