Job description

Your Role:
As a Regional Sales Manager at Cepheid, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, expanding our market presence, and delivering exceptional results. You will lead a talented team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and leverage the Danaher Business System (DBS) to achieve and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Growth and Revenue:
    Maximize business opportunities and grow revenue across Cepheid's innovative product portfolio. Expand market penetration in new segments and increase the installed base of Cepheid solutions.
  2. Lead with DBS:
    Implement and sustain tactical plans using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, including Action Planning, Funnel Management, Growth Room, and Daily Management. Coach and mentor your team to leverage DBS tools and strategies to overcome challenges and achieve success.
  3. Build Strategic Relationships:
    Collaborate with local sales leads, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to execute regional events and promotional activities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive menu utilization and expansion.
  4. Analyze and Optimize:
    Manage the Sales Funnel and customer data through CRM (SFDC) to ensure accurate forecasting and tracking. Deliver monthly reports and quarterly sales plan updates to leadership, showcasing your team’s progress and achievements.
  5. Develop Talent and Culture:
    Foster a best-in-class culture by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent. Ensure continuous development of your team through coaching, training, and career planning.
  6. Stay Ahead of the Curve:
    Monitor market dynamics, competitive trends, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and drive innovation. Represent Cepheid as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the molecular diagnostics space.

What We’re Looking For:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a medical or related field with 9+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience (MBA is a plus). Fluency in Arabic and English.

Skills and Competencies:
Proven leadership experience with the ability to coordinate resources, set priorities, and achieve operational objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges and drive results. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey strategies, performance metrics, and insights to teams and leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., SFDC) to drive business operations and reporting. A passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
