Job Summary:
Lead a team to manage all activities associated with formation, tendering award and administration of assigned contract packages and perform the same. Activities include delivery of critical items required from initial project set-up through to developing a team, establishing coordinated procedures and controls, to management of teams with accountability for work product to project milestones, quality and safety standards. Significant proactive engagement required with the project management team, other departments, customers and stakeholders to enable successful alignment on systems, processes, procedures and the critical activities for project success.
Major Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering or other applicable field. 20-years of experience in Contracts or Commercial Management. 10-years of team leadership experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in Commercial or Contracts Management on mega-projects; preference given to experience on mega-infrastructure projects and vertical constructions. Leadership and teamwork capabilities suitable for managing a workforce of many nationalities and backgrounds. Experience and completion of courses in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, contract administration and negotiation, planning and scheduling. Extensive skill in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups, Customers and Stakeholders. Must be proficient in English language, orally and written; Arabic is beneficial. Experience in Middle East / Saudi Arabia.
