Production Planning Senior Officer

We are seeking a Production Planning Senior Officer to join our Supply Chain team in Dammam Plant. This role is responsible for planning and managing production schedules to ensure timely customer deliveries while maximizing the companys production capacity. You will play a crucial role in coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, improve scheduling processes, and support sales and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet sales delivery requirements and optimize production capacity.
• Continuously improve the scheduling process using tools such as the capacity planning tool, Batch Tracker, delivery plan, and production sequence.
• Coordinate with Sales Operations to ensure invoicing and shipping are aligned with the production and delivery plans.
• Manage finished goods (FG) inventory levels, including liquidation plans and transfers.
• Ensure raw and packaging materials (RPM) availability and scheduling to meet production requirements.
• Respond to acceleration or cancellation requests from Sales Operations based on production and delivery plans.
• Review and monitor the process orders to support production and meet operational requirements on the shop floor.
• Use the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports to review sales orders and ensure alignment with production needs.
• Interface with manufacturing teams, purchasing, and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
• Establish and adjust priorities for sales operation orders to meet monthly target sales (MTS).
• Release and manage process orders for production.
• Revise and update production schedules based on production sequence specifications, established priorities, and available resources (workers, materials, machines).
• Provide support to Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams as needed on the production plan.
• Monitor and update batch tracker and delivery reports daily, addressing delays and root causes with the team.
• Conduct daily team meetings to review progress and foster a collaborative, results-driven work environment.
• Manage and follow up on quality requirements (CCR, NC, CAPA, and other requests) via eQMS/DMS.
• Represent the Supply Chain Department in quality audits and report on systems like eQMS, TMS, DMS, CAPA, NC, and training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in production planning.
• Proficient in Excel with strong strategic planning skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
