SAP Logistics Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Senior SAP Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing SAP modules to enhance business efficiency and performance. This role serves as the key technical expert, ensuring seamless integration, system configuration, and troubleshooting across SAP systems. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business processes with SAP functionalities, supporting system upgrades, and implementing best practices. Additionally, the role includes training end-users, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement to maximize SAP system capabilities within the organization.

Accountabilities:

1. SAP Modules Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, FICO, WM), providing advanced technical and functional knowledge.
2. System Optimization: Analyze current SAP system configurations and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, user experience, and system performance.
3. Integration Support: Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules with other enterprise systems.
4. Project Participation: Contribute to SAP-related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
5. Issue Resolution: Provide advanced troubleshooting for SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and optimal resolution times.
6. Business Process Alignment: Work closely with business units to understand processes and translate them into SAP functionalities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
7. Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and create comprehensive documentation for SAP processes and configurations.
8. Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with external SAP consultants and vendors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of services.
9. Compliance and Standards: Ensure SAP systems adhere to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP advancements and industry best practices, driving innovation and continuous system improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• SAP certifications in relevant modules are highly preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with SAP in an FMCG environment, with preference for experience in the beverage industry.
• Proven track record in SAP module implementation, configuration, and support.
