Job Description

Senior Development Manager / Development Lead - Sports & Agriculture projects in Al Ula KSA.

This is a senior-level professional responsible for overseeing and managing related projects from inception to completion of RIBA 4 stage. The role requires strong leadership, project/development management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of Sports & Agriculture developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
2. Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team of professionals involved in the project, such as engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors.
3. Budget Management: Establish and control project budgets, ensuring that the project is delivered within the allocated financial constraints.
4. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with key stakeholders, including clients, management, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties.
6. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that the project adheres to all applicable regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
7. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards throughout the project.
8. Progress Tracking and Reporting: Regularly track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and provide status reports to stakeholders.
9. Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
10. Change Management: Handle changes in project scope, schedule, or resources and ensure modifications are documented and communicated.

Requirements:

1. Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management or a related field. Advanced certifications (PMP) are advantageous.
2. Experience: Extensive experience (20+ years) in Sports & Agriculture project management is essential.
3. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Sports & Agriculture developments including regulations and best practices.
4. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
5. Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Time Management: Exceptional time management skills.
9. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
