Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Riyadh

Job Summary:

A government entity seeks a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, operations, and compliance. The ideal candidate must have extensive governmental experience, particularly in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning, with strong engagement with key government entities such as the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Ministry of Health (MoH). The CFO will oversee financial operations across multiple subsidiaries or entities, ensuring financial sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with MoF and MoH, ensuring seamless communication and compliance with governmental financial regulations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with accounting standards.
  • Manage financial risks, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Drive cost optimization and efficiency across the organization.
  • Supervise multiple subsidiaries or entities, ensuring financial performance and alignment.
  • Lead funding, investment, and financial sustainability initiatives.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 12+ years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a CFO in a relevant industry.
  • Extensive governmental experience, particularly in financial operations, regulations, and discussions with the Ministry of Finance.
  • Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must have professional certifications:CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) & CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or as a Group CFO handling multiple subsidiaries or entities is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in highly regulated environments and manage financial compliance.

  • Strategic financial planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Governmental budgeting and reporting expertise.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and investment management.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
