Mechanical Rotating Supervisor

Title: Mechanical Rotating Supervisor

Responsibilities:

1. Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
2. Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
3. Organize manpower resources, equipment, and materials availability.
4. Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
5. Provide technical advice to Technicians on using proper tools and equipment.
6. Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
7. Ensure that SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
8. Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
9. Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
10. Conduct Toolbox talk before commencing work.
11. Ensure compliance with safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
12. Encourage reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
13. Participate in Safety audits.
14. Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 10 years experience as Supervisor in maintenance of Rotating equipment like various types of Pumps & Compressors, Steam and Gas turbines, Gearboxes, Conveyors, fin fans, Safety valves, Alignment techniques, etc.
3. Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
4. Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
5. Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
6. An ability to achieve business results while working in a multi-cultural environment.
