Job description

Dynamic Salesman – Wholesale B2B Markets

Location: Jeddah and Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Industry: Wholesale Markets/Import & Export

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and approach potential B2B clients in the wholesale and rice market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and bulk buyers.
  • Present and promote rice products effectively to achieve sales targets.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand client needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
  • Provide feedback to the management on market opportunities and potential threats.

Negotiation and Deal Closure:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients.
  • Ensure deals are closed efficiently and align with company policies.

Order Management and Delivery Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle client queries and resolve issues related to delivery or product quality.

Sales Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain a database of clients and sales activities.

Brand Representation:

  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events in Saudi Arabia.
  • Uphold the company's image and promote the brand effectively.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

Communication Skills:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English for effective communication with local and international clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills for professional correspondence.

Negotiation Skills:

  • Strong ability to negotiate deals, handle objections, and close sales effectively.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

Market Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the rice and wholesale markets in Saudi Arabia.
  • Awareness of pricing trends, product demand, and import/export regulations.

Sales Expertise:

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Expertise in handling large volume orders and corporate clients.

Time Management and Organization:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and meet deadlines effectively.

Technical Skills:

  1. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Personal Attributes:

  1. Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
  2. Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving sales excellence.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the rice or FMCG industry, particularly in B2B markets. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is a strong advantage.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid Saudi driving license.
  • Knowledge of local trade regulations and customs is a plus.

Work Conditions:

  • Job Timings: As per Saudi Arabian market trends (e.g., split shifts, extended hours during peak seasons).
  • Travel: Frequent travel within Jeddah, Dammam, and other cities as required.
