Position Summary:

• Ensuring the quality of work and safety in the plant.

• Responsible for maintenance and inspection of plant equipment & NG facility.

• Prepare reports for plant equipment.

• Prepare and maintain ISO documents.

• State work instructions clearly and directly to Subordinates (Supervisor/Foreman/Technician).

• Report to higher authorities regarding any abnormalities.

Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

1. Responsible for inspection, preventive maintenance, and lubrication of plant equipment and NG facility.
2. Ensure plant equipment is reliable and available for production.
3. Immediate action on all activities related to online maintenance.
4. Ensuring the quality of work and safety in the plant.
5. Review daily PM checklist and prepare reports for equipment abnormalities, following up for corrective action with the concerned person.
6. Prepare daily vibration analysis report, analyze it, and report to higher authorities for any abnormal vibration.
7. Prepare and maintain ISO documents.
8. Check the availability of manpower in all areas with respective Supervisor/Foremen/Technician.
9. Plan for the concerned area activity, identify improvement activities, and make arrangements for the same.
10. Identify the required inspection tools for the section.
11. Annual review of the lubrication program of the plant equipment.
12. Annual review of the thickness monitoring program.
13. Annual review of the plant inspection program.
14. Annual review of the plant vibration & temperature monitoring program.
15. Maintain the preventive maintenance spares of the concerned area.
16. Report near misses and accidents to the safety department and concerned department.
17. Ensure spare availability of concerned area related equipment.
18. Conduct required training for Subordinates (Supervisor/Foreman/Technician).
19. Close coordination with Process and other Departments.
20. Report day-to-day activity to the concerned Superintendent / Assistant Manager.
21. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
22. Understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
23. Follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
24. Report damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to concerned staff.
25. Keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
26. Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
27. Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible.
28. Attend safety trainings planned for them.
29. Have the right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.

Skills Competencies:

Experienced in maintenance and troubleshooting of process plant and equipment like Pumps, Gearbox, Compressor, Blower, Conveyor belt, cooling tower, and heat exchanger.

Knowledge of basic computer skills like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of quality management systems.
